Community Service

In the past few years, we have established connections with many local farms throughout Maryland. From our website, we have connected the fresh produce of collaborating farms to our community through delivery services. This helps our local farms ship out harvests, reducing the potential waste of crops and providing farm products to people without access to rural farms.

Our Goal

We would like to further expand our reach to 10 senior centers and other members of our community in need, who have yet to experience the healthy, organic, and fresh farm produce. In order to spread awareness of local farmers throughout the next 4 months. Some examples include Lighthouse Senior Living in Ellicott City, Ellicott City 50+ Center, and the North Laurel 50+ Center.

Community Engagement

On July 26, 2024, members from our team volunteered at the Eastern Paradise Farm in Middletown, Maryland. We picked and brought fresh farm produce such as corn to the Royal Garden Adult Medical Daycare Center. We are planning to visit more farms in the future and deliver to other senior centers.

Partnerships

We have a partnership with Ez US Life.

Many local farms in our area have lots of excess produce with no buyers, while senior centers in our area struggle with lack of fresh and healthy food. We have contacted local farms such as the Eastern Paradise Farm, Four Season Farm, Threefold Farm, Kingsbury’s Orchard, Frank's Produce & Greenhouse, and the Amish Farm Community to offer to deliver their products to senior centers free of charge.
